Sue has 30 years experience in human resource management and people development. Prior to entering consulting and founding TimelessTime, she gained operational HR experience in a wide variety of industries including aerospace, electronics, chemicals, service industries, the Health Service, academia, not-for-profit NGO’s and the charity sector. Sue started in 1985 as an HR officer with Ciba Geigy and moved quickly to HR Manager, HR Business Partner and HR consultant.
From 2002, Sue managed HR and training & development teams across the UK and in the US, the Caribbean and Africa for Virgin Atlantic. She is highly experienced and skilled across every aspect of HR and T&D. She is also certified by the British Psychological Society to administer and analyse ability and personality test instruments.
Over the period 2004 to 2009 she was head of the HR function and executive team member in three separate and very different organisations – Connexions, Eaton-Williams and Dogs Trust. In these she managed HR and training teams of between 5 and 12 people responsible for people-management service delivery to between 300 and 700 employees. She has published two books and written several papers on various aspects of people management.
Sue has a BEd(Hons) in sociology and a BSc(Hons) in economics, politics and psychology and she is a qualified trainer, holding the UK Government QTS accreditation. She holds a Master’s degree in Human Resource Management and is Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
Sue has both the academic qualifications and the experience to advise on and manage the implementation of all manner of HR strategies and practices in small, medium and large firms. Sue is Enhanced DBS cleared.
John is an experienced executive, having held board and senior management positions with both SMEs and multinational firms. He has specific and detailed experience in management of product design, R&D project management, product management, marketing, software project management, consulting and business development. He has managed projects and enjoyed sales success across these domains in Europe, Middle East, North America, South America and the Far East. In a global career, John has led teams in 32 countries.
The holder of an MBA majoring in the management of technology and technologists and an MSc in organisational psychology, John is a Chartered Engineer, a Chartered Manager and a Fellow of both the Institution of Engineering and Technology and of the Chartered Management Institute. John also holds a Diploma in Management Studies, a BSc in electrical and electronic engineering and a BA in politics, sociology and economics.
John has been practice director of InterConnect, an international regulatory consultancy and Ericsson subsidiary; managing director of ATDI, one of Europe’s foremost radio communications software and consulting companies; business unit manager of Thales, a French defence multi-national; European marketing manager for Maxon, a Korean mobile phone manufacturer, and product marketing manager for Philips in radio communications systems. He led a design laboratory in Philips managing mechanical, electrical and software engineers in Germany, France and UK.
John’s experience of running companies and teams of people started back in 1983 when he took responsibility for his first group of 20 consulting engineers in Philips. Between then and 2011 when he joined TimelessTime, John has run small and medium sized enterprises, either as divisions within multi-nationals, as companies with employees or as companies running contracted consultants. He has started companies from nothing and built and has taken over organisations from others.
John has both the experience and the qualifications in strategy, people management and organisational development to consult, mentor, coach and train on any strategy, people and organisation subject. John is Enhanced DBS cleared. He is a STEM Ambassador.
Kay has over 15 years’ experience managing and supporting small businesses in the design, consultancy and engineering industries in general management and marketing functions.
As General Manager of ATDI, one of Europe’s foremost radio communications software and consulting companies, she managed HR, administration, finance, quality system (ISO 9001), marketing, project management and health and safety. And as Account Manager and Business Support at Blue Edge she managed large bid design projects, marketing activities, client accounts, finance and all administrative management including HR and facilities.
Kay is committed to continuous professional development. She has an HND in Business and Finance and a post-graduate diploma (PGDip) in Business Administration and General Management. Kay is a graduate of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development.
